The ABQ AACN Circle of Excellence Awards is your way to recognize a critical care or progressive care nurse who embodies, exemplifies and excels at the clinical skills and principles that are required in their practice.  Each nurse that is nominated will have a portion of their exemplar read at an award ceremony that is free to attend by both the nominee and the nominator as well as be awarded a plaque displaying their name and the name of the AACN awards.  There are 6 categories to nominate your nurse in: 1) Clinical Excellence 2) Tenacity (RN for > 15 yrs) 3) Compassion 4) Evidence Based Practice 5) Courage/Vision (RN <2 years) 6) Leadership. The nurses nominated must have current clinical practice in one of the following areas:
MICU, CCU, SICU, NEURO ICU, TSICU, NEONATAL ICU, PEDS ICU, CVL,  Progressive Care Unit, SAC, Telemetry Units.
