Job Description:

• Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
• Location: Albuquerque, NM
• Schedule: Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
• Shift: Night | 3x12-Hour (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Pay Range: $52.00 - $55.00/hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical RN to join a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic hospital setting. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to a range of patients including post-surgical and stroke cases, ensuring safety and quality outcomes across all shifts. This is a great opportunity for experienced nurses looking to expand their professional portfolio in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, planning, and implementation.
• Monitor and manage post-operative and stroke patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective care.
• Provide patient education and emotional support throughout the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records.
• Float to other units as needed within scope.
• Weekend shifts required as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• First-time travelers welcome!
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with telemetry tech support 24/7
• Must be willing to float between units based on facility needs
