Progressive Care Nurse

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: New Mexico (State or Compact RN License Required)

Schedule: 3x12 Hour Day Shifts

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (89 Days)

Openings: 10

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Weekly Gross Pay: $2,504.16

Licensure & Certifications:

BLS (AHA, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)

ACLS (Same as above)

NIHSS

Minimum 2 years recent experience in an 18+ bed Telemetry/PCU unit

Active RN License – New Mexico or Compact State

Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment

BCA test must be passed before or during the first week of assignment

Epic EMR experience

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation)

Administer medications and treatments per protocols or physician orders

Identify and address patient/family discharge and education needs

Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care

Supervise LPNs and unlicensed personnel

Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to established care standards
