Adolescent Registered Nurse New

Part-Time Registered Nurse

M-F, generally 12-6, up to 32 hours/week

$35-$40/hour

Insight Global is hiring for an RN to support their adolescent transitional facility in the Albuquerque area. The Registered Nurse role is responsible for ensuring all program clients receive proper medical treatment as dictated by National, State, and Contracting Organization standards.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred,
• RN License
• Experience in pediatric/adolescent nursing

Day to Day

This individual will ensure triage and routine medical care to include episodic care, admission required screenings, medical record upkeep, and communication with offsite medical providers, medical related training for Program Team Members, routine emergency drills, and monitoring of youth medical and dental needs. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs and responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including case management and family planning.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
• Utilize knowledge of physiology to assess patient conditions effectively.
