Position Description
The Manager of Quality leads facility-wide quality improvement efforts and ensures ongoing compliance with regulatory standards. This role champions a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement-supporting clinical quality, coding integrity, and process enhancement, depending on departmental focus.

Lead Quality Programs
- Design, implement, and oversee quality initiatives aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify performance gaps and implement sustainable, evidence-based solutions.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory bodies (e.g., The Joint Commission, state requirements) through audits and continuous monitoring.
- Provide training and resources to promote adherence to quality standards and foster a culture of excellence.
- Ensure quality-related documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Serve on cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned; uphold organizational policies and compliance standards.
Education
- Required: Associate Degree in Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Quality, or related field
- Required: Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
- Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
- 3-5 years in quality management, regulatory compliance, or related healthcare field (required)
- Direct experience supporting TJC or state surveys (required)
- 2-4 years in data analysis (preferred)
- Prior supervisory or management experience (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of quality improvement frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and driving change
- Collaborative mindset with proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
