2018 Circle of Excellence Awards - November 10th, 2018

The Albuquerque AACN invites you to nominate an exceptional Critical Care or Progressive Care Nurse for the 2018 Circle of Excellence Awards. This event is being sponsored, in part, by a generous grant from Zoll LifeVest. Held on Saturday November 10th, 2018 at Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North. Doors open at 5:30 pm, event starts 6:00 pm, and ends 10:00 pm.

The ABQ AACN Circle of Excellence Awards is your way to recognize a critical care or progressive care nurse who embodies, exemplifies and excels at the clinical skills and principles that are required in their practice. Each nurse that is nominated will have a portion of their exemplar read at an award ceremony that is free to attend by both the nominee and the nominator as well as be awarded a plaque displaying their name and the name of the AACN awards.

There are 6 categories to nominate your nurse in:

1. Clinical Excellence
2. Tenacity (RN for > 15 yrs)
3. Compassion
4. Evidence Based Practice
5. Courage/Vision (RN <2 years)
6. Leadership.

The nurses nominated must have current clinical practice in one of the following areas:

• MICU, CCU, SICU, NEURO ICU, TSICU, NEONATAL ICU, PEDS ICU, CVL, Progressive Care Unit, SAC, Telemetry Units.

This is a wonderful evening to acknowledge and celebrate our amazing Critical Care and Progressive Care Nurses and what they do for our patients and each other! Nominations for awards will be completed via Nursing Network starting now and ending October 27th, 2018.
